Jane de Leon posed as her breakthrough role, Darna, on the cover of Metro Magazine! The photo revealed the full Darna suit from head to toe–a modern take on the Pinoy superhero’s signature red-and-gold bikini, boots, wrist cuffs, and helmet.
“Jane de Leon as the modern-day Darna has finally made her appearance in the much-awaited and trending take of ABS-CBN on a Mars Ravelo classic,” the fashion magazine captioned their post.

The series was quick to drop Darna’s transformation on TV. Last Friday’s episode was titled “Lipad, Darna” where Narda decided to take on her responsibility as the new superhero and swallow the magic stone. Rewatch it below:
